Reading-based indie 5-piece, The Fleas, are set to release their new single, Push as a free download on Saturday, February 10th.

Push is a kind of indie Black Mirror; three-and-a-half minutes of high-concept future-shock, presenting a world where the authorities know that it’s too late to save the system but can’t afford to let the public know. Instead, society is being kept stupid on purpose and gradually fattened for consumption for a time “when the food has all run out”. 

 

The song marks the band’s fourth release from their forthcoming debut album, Square Peg.
